Attorney Daniel J. Miller
Dan Miller, a local native, graduated from Norfolk Collegiate School in 1985, earned his Associate's Degree from Oxford College in 1987, and his Bachelor's Degree from Emory University in 1989. He majored in sociology and philosophy. Taking a break from his studies from 1989 through 1995, Dan was a member of an Atlanta-based band who toured throughout the southeast United States. In 1997, Dan attended Thomas M. Cooley Law School, graduated early, and returned to Virginia to earn his admission to the Virginia State Bar in 1998. Shortly after his admission, Dan began his legal career working at Michael I. Ashe, P.C. where he focused on criminal and traffic law and personal injury. In 2001, Dan founded his own firm, Dan Miller & Associates, P.C., where he still practices in Virginia Beach today.
Dan is licensed to practice in all state and federal courts in Virginia. He is also a member of various associations including the Virginia State Bar, the Virginia Trial Lawyers Association, the Norfolk Portsmouth Bar Association, the Virginia Beach Bar Association, the Chesapeake Bar Association, and the American Bar Association. Dan has also been selected for various professional legal organizations including the Top 100 Trial Lawyers in 2014.
